Dear Parents,

This summer, give your child focused academic support designed to strengthen math skills and build lasting confidence.

Legibee Learning Academy is now offering Small-Group and One-on-One Math Intervention Tutoring for students in Grades 4–9 in Highlands and Polk County.

This is not a summer camp. This is a structured academic program that blends targeted math instruction with creative, hands-on learning activities designed to reduce math anxiety, build understanding, and help students apply concepts in meaningful ways.

How Enrollment Works

All students begin with a Math Skills Assessment to determine their current level and ensure proper group placement.

Step 1: Math Skills Assessment or Math Evaluation
A Math skills assessment is a one-on-one 45-60 minute detail diagnostic session to identify your child’s strengths, gaps, and recommended placement. A Math Evaluation is a one-on-one 25 minute quick evaluation on a specific math problem.

  • Math Skills Assessment Fee $50 (non-refundable) : Includes full assessment session + detailed written results report
  • Math Evaluation Fee $10 (non-refundable) : Includes a quick assessment to target the problem your child is struggling with in math + verbal report

Step 2: Receive Your Results Report
You will receive a report outlining:

  • Current skill level
  • Learning gaps identified
  • Recommended group placement
  • Personalized summer learning plan

Step 3: Reserve Your Spot
Once placement is confirmed, you may officially enroll and secure your child’s spot.

  • Registration & Supply Fee: $60 (one-time)
  • Covers all instructional materials, art supplies, and learning resources for the duration of the program

What Makes Our Program Different?

We combine targeted math instruction with hands-on creative learning activities that help students stay engaged while building real understanding.

Students will not only practice math — they will apply it through guided, project-based activities that make concepts visual, interactive, and easier to retain.

Students will focus on:

  • Closing foundational math gaps
  • Strengthening number sense and fluency
  • Pre-algebra and algebra readiness
  • Problem-solving strategies
  • Applying math concepts through hands-on creative projects

Although this is an intervention-focused program, students learn in a supportive environment where math feels more approachable, less intimidating, and more achievable.
